Shoppers Drug Mart / Loblaws Rural and Suburban Placement Award

The Shoppers Drug Mart / Loblaws Rural and Suburban Placement Award is a scholarship awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the fourth year of an Entry to Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at the University of Alberta. Students must be assigned to a Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaws placement in Alberta that is either a rural/suburban placement or a Pharmacist-Led Clinic. Selection is based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership, collegiality, and an interest in rural/suburban placements and/or Pharmacist-Led Clinics. Preference is given to students matched to Pharmacist-Led Clinics and to students with demonstrated financial need.
