Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy/MBA Award

The Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy/MBA Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences who have completed the MBA portion of the fulltime program in the MBA/BSc in Pharmacy combined degree. Selection is based on academic standing. Preference is given to students who have clearly demonstrated in their previous three years of undergraduate pharmacy their long-term interest in pursuing a career in community pharmacy management and who have a demonstrable track record of undertaking leadership roles which include community volunteerism, academic societies, and student groups during their undergraduate education. This endowed award is funded by Shoppers Drug Mart Ltd and administered through the University of Alberta.
