Short Term Emergency Grant

The Bath Spa University Short Term Emergency Grant provides limited discretionary financial support for students who are unable to meet basic costs from other sources of support until they are able to receive their first payment from Student Finance. The fund is intended to support students in financial difficulty with day-to-day living costs rather than be a main source of income, and cannot help with tuition fees or rental/deposit payments. Awards are discretionary and are paid in the form of a non-repayable grant. This emergency funding is specifically designed for students experiencing unexpected financial difficulty because their Student Finance has been delayed, helping them bridge the gap until their regular student finance payments commence.
