About this opportunity
Shout! is a grant program designed to support non-statutory advocacy services that help young people speak up, make informed choices, and secure their rights, especially in systems where they are often excluded, misunderstood, or marginalised. The program focuses on organisations working with care-experienced young people, LGBT+ young people, and young people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergences. Services could include casework, one-to-one, group or peer advocacy. The primary focus is supporting young people aged 14 to 25, particularly those navigating key transitions to building independence. Organisations must support at least one of the priority groups to apply. Age ranges in services can be flexible, and services don't need to be exclusively for young people, but organisations must show a clear understanding of the specific issues they face and how their support is tailored to meet their needs. The program provides up to £240,000 over four years to support advocacy work that gives young people a voice and helps them navigate challenging systems.
