SHQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Medical Education Scholarship

SHQ recognises that to achieve health equality more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are needed in the health workforce. This scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and nurses to participate in one of SHQ's Certificate Programs: the Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Medical Practitioners or the Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing). The scholarship covers the full cost of the course, while other costs such as travel, meals, and accommodation must be met by the participant. This opportunity is exclusively available to clinicians working in Western Australia.
