Sinclair Supply Ltd. Bursary in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

The Sinclair Supply Ltd. Bursary in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning was created to honor Dan Sorochan's lifetime commitment to the industry, Sinclair Supply Ltd., and his community. Dan started with Sinclair Supply Ltd. in 1947 at age 19, working in various roles until becoming General Manager in 1953. To celebrate Sinclair Supply Ltd.'s 75th anniversary, the company created an endowment to support these bursaries in perpetuity for future generations of Sheet Metal workers, Gasfitter workers, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics. This bursary is available to students enrolled in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprenticeship program at NAIT. Awards are made on the basis of demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic achievement. Students must submit an application through the General Application system to be considered, and will only be evaluated during the period they are actively enrolled as a student. The award amount varies based on available funding.
