About this opportunity
The ANU Sir Geoffrey Yeend Honours Scholarship is an annual award offered by the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences and the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. The objective of the scholarship is to recruit high calibre students into the Colleges' Honours programs. Up to three awards may be offered each year to prospective or current ANU students pursuing Honours degrees in Arts and Social Sciences or Asia Pacific Studies. Funding for this award has been provided by the Sir Geoffrey Yeend Scholarship Fund, established in 1996 in memory of Sir Geoffrey Yeend, former Chancellor of ANU and Secretary Prime Minister and Cabinet. The scholarship provides $5,000 for one year of full-time study, with payments made per semester. Students are automatically considered for the scholarship when they apply for admission to an Honours program in either of the participating colleges.
