About this opportunity
The Sir Graham (Mont) Liggins Scholarship was established in 2016 and is funded by the Mont Liggins Memorial Fund. The Liggins Institute is named after Sir Graham (Mont) Liggins, a distinguished clinician and researcher whose life-saving treatment for premature babies is now standard clinical practice world-wide. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support academically excellent students to undertake an honours or research masters degree that falls within one or more of the strategic research themes of the Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland Liggins Institute. The scholarship supports domestic and international students enrolled full-time in honours or research masters study. Up to four scholarships are offered annually with a tenure of one year, covering compulsory domestic tuition fees.
