Sir James Wattie Scholarship for Food Technology

The Sir James Wattie Scholarship for Food Technology is funded by Kraft Heinz, the founder of the food processing company Wattie's, to support Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours students. This scholarship is awarded to new students enrolling at Massey University in the first year of the Bachelor of Food Technology (Honours) degree. The scholarship provides $10,000 NZD over four years' duration to support undergraduate study. When selecting recipients, the university considers academic achievements, passion for food technology, and future career intentions. This scholarship is designed for candidates with a strong interest in food technology who are entering their first year of university study.
