About this opportunity
This scholarship was established in 1980 by the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Sir John Marshall, to encourage the study of Political Science at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship was later extended to include International Relations. The scholarship is awarded to students who have completed 100 level POLS or INTP courses and are intending to major in Political Science or International Relations. Recipients must be enrolled in 200 level POLS or INTP courses at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship provides a stipend paid in one lump sum after the cut-off date for course withdrawal, and the recipient's name will be inscribed on the Honours Board at the premises of the Political Science and International Relations Programme.
