About this opportunity
The Sir Roland Wilson (SRW) Foundation Pat Turner scholarship (Coursework) provides high performing Indigenous Australian Public Service (APS) employees a 1-2-year full pay scholarship at ANU to undertake a postgraduate coursework program. The scholarship supports Indigenous APS employees between levels APS 4 and SES B1 who have served for at least three years within the APS or Commonwealth public sector. Scholars continue to receive their normal APS agency salary while studying full-time at ANU, with taxation, superannuation and other employment conditions continuing to apply. The Foundation aims to honor the contributions of Sir Roland Wilson and Pat Turner to public policy development in Australia while promoting excellence in public policy research, fostering closer links between the APS and the University, and supporting the development of future leaders in public policy. Scholars also have access to a professional development fund of up to $5,000 over the course of the scholarship.
