Sister Mary Gabriel Memorial Scholarship

The Sister Mary Gabriel Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the third-year Nursing student from a Prince Edward Island high school with the highest academic standing in third year. The recipient must have completed all the first- and second-semester core Nursing courses within one academic year and must not already be on a scholarship of more than $1,000. This scholarship was created by the former PEI School of Nursing and Health and Social Services and was named after Sister Mary Gabriel, a well-respected nurse in PEI who held numerous positions in nursing education throughout the province. The award recognizes academic excellence and dedication to nursing education in honor of Sister Mary Gabriel's legacy in the nursing profession.
