About this opportunity
The Skellern Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a PhD student who is undertaking research in the Sydney Nursing School, Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. This stipend scholarship is funded by the Skellern Family Foundation and provides financial support for doctoral research in nursing. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in a PhD program within the Faculty of Medicine and Health and must be conducting research specifically in the Sydney Nursing School. The scholarship includes provisions for recreation leave, sick leave, parental leave, and the possibility of conducting research overseas after the first six months.
