Skogplanting- tilskot

Bømlo kommune provides grants to forest owners for reforestation and forest management activities through the NMSK (Nærings- og miljøtiltak i skogbruket) program. The grant supports various forestry activities including new planting on harvested forest land, seeding, soil preparation, young forest care, stem pruning, thinning, and forest fertilization. Two main grant rates are available: 30 percent subsidy for new planting on harvested forest land and 50 percent subsidy for new planting on reforestation land. There is also a support scheme for denser new planting and supplementary planting after harvesting, with the goal of increasing the number of forest plants when regenerating existing forest areas. All forest owners who have more than 10 decares of productive forest and who have met the minimum planting number requirement can apply for the grant.
