Skolekorpsmidler

This is a grant program provided by Alta Kommune (Alta Municipality) in Norway to support the operation of school bands (skolekorps) and promote recruitment of children and youth. The program distributes NOK 100,000 annually among qualifying school bands. Talvik Brass Band can also apply on equal terms with school bands. The allocation considers the number of members who are children and youth, particularly those of primary school age. The funding is distributed according to specific criteria: 50% based on conductor/instruction expenses shown in accounts, 30% based on number of active members including aspirants, and 20% as base support distributed equally to all qualifying organizations. Recipients must submit an application with supporting documentation including annual report, audited accounts, budget, and activity plan for the band's operations.
