SLLC Excellence Scholarships (Masters)

The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (SLLC) at University College Cork offers Excellence Scholarships for Taught Masters Programmes available in the School. The scholarship provides a fee waiver of EU fees for students commencing a masters programme in autumn 2025. The programmes covered include MA in Asian Studies, MA in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MATCSOL), MA in Migration, Mobility and Culture, MA in Translation Studies, and MA in Applied Linguistics. The scholarship is open to both EU and non-EU students, though non-EU students must pay the difference between EU and non-EU fees. Applicants must have already applied for one of the eligible Taught Masters programmes through the university's application system, and the award is contingent on acceptance to the relevant programme.
