SMS Statistics and Data Science Postgraduate Scholarship

The SMS Statistics and Data Science Postgraduate Scholarship is funded by the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and has been established to encourage postgraduate study in Statistics and Data Science. This scholarship is designed to support students who have completed at least one year of study at Victoria University of Wellington and are seeking to study full-time in postgraduate Statistics and Data Science. Three scholarships of $1,000 each are available annually to recognize and reward academic merit as demonstrated in courses at levels 200 and 300, or 400 level if relevant. The scholarship is paid directly to the student as one lump sum and can be held in conjunction with other awards. Recipients are expected to act as Ambassadors for Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and participate in appropriate events or marketing if requested.
