About This Opportunity
The SNBE Sustainability Prizes were established in 2022 by the School of Natural and Built Environment Sustainable Practices Committee at Queen's University Belfast. These prizes recognize outstanding undergraduate dissertations and projects that promote climate change awareness and climate action. Two prizes of £150 each are awarded annually to undergraduate students across all disciplines within the School of Natural and Built Environment. The first prize goes to the most outstanding performance in an undergraduate dissertation or project on any topic promoting climate change awareness or climate action, typically the dissertation with the highest mark. The second prize is awarded to the dissertation or project demonstrating the most ambition and showing the greatest potential for impact in promoting climate change awareness or climate action. These prizes encourage undergraduate students to engage with sustainability issues and contribute to climate action through their academic research.
