About this opportunity
The Snow Scholarship is one of Australia's most generous and transformative undergraduate programs, designed predominantly to support students in Canberra and regional or rural NSW who face barriers to higher education. Each scholarship provides comprehensive support including on-campus accommodation for up to 52 weeks each year, an annual stipend to help with everyday living costs like food, transport and study supplies, tutoring and academic support, health and wellbeing services including GP visits, psychological counselling, and gym memberships.
The program also includes skill-building opportunities such as mental health first aid training, financial literacy education, cultural awareness training, and career support services. Travel and relocation support is also provided to help scholars transition to university life. Priority is given to applicants from underrepresented groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, those living in rural or regional NSW, those facing financial hardship, people living with a disability, caregivers, and those enrolled in or who have completed pathway programs.
