About this opportunity
The Snowdon Master's Scholarship aims to accelerate exceptional disabled students through master's study and into leadership in all its forms. The scholarship invests in students who intend to use their lived experience of disabling barriers to challenge inequality, shift narratives, and lead progress in a specific field, their community, or in public life. To further support the leadership journey, scholars are invited to join the Disabled Leaders Network, a peer-led group offering community, collaboration and skills development. It is a safe, supportive and progressive space to share experience, amplify voices, and strengthen impact.
The scholarship provides up to £30,000 payable as a contribution of up to £15,000 towards fees paid directly to the university, and a further £15,000 paid to scholars in termly instalments to cover living expenses over the duration of their Master's study. In 2026, in addition to the usual Snowdon Master's Scholarship which supports leadership in any sphere, targeted DFN Snowdon Master's Scholarships will also be offered to support individuals pursuing careers in business leadership, government or policy, with intent to close the Disability Employment Gap.
