About This Opportunity
This scholarship was created in celebration of Soby Boyden Lenz's 20th anniversary and in celebration of the University of Calgary's 40th anniversary as a way to support students interested in pursuing a career in family law. The scholarship is offered annually to a student in the Faculty of Law, JD program with the highest standing in LAW 515: Family Law. Preference is given to the student with the aggregate highest standing in LAW 515: Family Law and LAW 683: Advanced Family Law if both courses are offered in the same year. This award recognizes academic excellence in family law studies and supports students committed to this field of legal practice.
