Social Action Bursary

The Social Action Bursary is provided through the Horizon Fund, which receives generous donations from alumni, staff, former staff, and friends of University of Staffordshire to provide financial support to students to help them reach their goals. This academic year, there are 4 bursaries available of £2,000 each, specifically designed for students studying BA (Hons) Social Work who have experience within the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS). The bursary aims to support students during their time at university, helping towards trips, equipment, or other items that enhance their degree experience. Recipients must be actively engaged in their studies and may be invited to participate in University publicity campaigns. The bursary is paid in two instalments directly to the provided bank account, and students must be in full attendance for these payment dates.
