About this opportunity
With the help of alumni donors, the Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program has established a Study Abroad Scholarship to encourage undergraduate students who are in one of the program's majors to pursue an opportunity to study abroad. The scholarship supports students pursuing study abroad experiences through University at Buffalo or SUNY programs. Awards vary by semester: $1,000 for fall and spring terms, and $500 for summer term. Preference is given to students who have not studied abroad previously, demonstrate a serious approach to academic pursuits, articulate clear personal and academic goals for the study abroad experience, and plan to return to UB for at least one semester after completing their study abroad program.
