Sociology Department Award

The Sociology Department Award is a recognition given to accomplished graduate students in sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The sociology faculty periodically nominate outstanding graduate students for this award. Awards are not necessarily given each academic year and there is no student application process - students must be nominated by faculty. Recipients are recognized at the department's annual awards ceremony, held each spring. The award amount varies and is supported by multiple donors through the UWM Foundation.
