About this opportunity
The Sociology Summer Internship Award supports Sociology majors who are planning to complete internships over summer 2026. This award is designed to provide financial assistance to students pursuing practical work experience in their field. Candidates must be in good academic standing with at least 45 credits completed by the end of the spring semester. Preference will be given to students with confirmed offers from employers, but students who are awaiting formal confirmation may still apply. All internships must be confirmed by the employer to receive the award, and internships must be conducted and completed to retain the award. The award provides $1,000 to support students' summer internship experiences that relate to their academic plan in Sociology and their career goals.
