The Sofia Markovna Gampel Memorial Prize for Nineteenth Century Russian Literature is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated excellence in Russian coursework. This prize recognizes outstanding performance in the study of nineteenth century Russian literature and is supported by endowed funds established by ET Yedlin.
