Sokol Internship Fund

The Sokol Award is for SBS students with internships in Federal Agencies or Congressional positions ONLY. The purpose of the Sokol Fund is to provide a $500 stipend per semester for UMass Amherst students with financial need who are participating in a congressional or federal agency internship located in Washington, DC or in statewide or regional location. To be considered, students must confirm their internship site and the organization where they will complete their internship. Students must also upload a copy of the confirmation of their internship from their employer to be considered for this stipend. This award supports students in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) pursuing internships in federal government settings.
