About This Opportunity

The Department for Health and Wellbeing offers an Aboriginal Health Scholarship Program in partnership with Australian Rotary Health. The program aims to increase the number of professionally qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the South Australian health sector. The scholarship provides financial support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in health-related courses such as medicine, registered nursing, midwifery, dentistry, pathology, allied health, environmental health and health promotion. Applicants must be residents of South Australia for more than 12 months prior to submission and provide Confirmation of Aboriginality from an Aboriginal organisation. The scholarship is valued at approximately $5,000 and is awarded for one year.
