South East Asia Postgraduate Scholarship

Edinburgh Napier University offers partial scholarships for self-funding postgraduate students from South East Asia. The scholarship provides £2,000 (GBP) to eligible students entering full-time Masters courses in September 2026 or January 2027. The scholarships are awarded on a merit-based, first-come, first-served basis to students who are domiciled in eligible South East Asian countries and meet specific criteria. To be eligible, students must be from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, or the Philippines, be self-funding their course, and hold an offer to study a full-time, on-campus Masters course at Edinburgh Napier University. Students receiving discounted tuition fees from partner universities or holding other scholarships are not eligible, and MRes programmes are excluded from this award. The scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible students who hold an unconditional offer, meet the eligibility criteria, and have made a £6,000 deposit payment towards their fees. There is no additional application process required. The scholarship amount will be reflected on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) email issued for Student Route Visa applications.
