About This Opportunity

Since 1955, Southern Scholarship Foundation has helped thousands of students with outstanding academic abilities, good character, and financial need realize their dream of a college education. Qualified students attending Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee State College, and the University of Florida are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing, offering leadership training and personal development opportunities in the living and learning community. The scholarship provides room and board support to qualified students with minimum 3.0 GPA who demonstrate financial need and are under 25 years of age. The program offers 75-125 awards annually and is renewable based on maintaining academic standards and living cooperatively in the housing community.
