Sparling Travel Award in Environmental Studies

The Sparling Travel Award in Environmental Studies is designed for students enrolled in any level of postgraduate study who are undertaking research in the area of environmental studies, natural sciences, or agricultural sciences, excluding marine or volcanic studies. This travel award supports postgraduate researchers in presenting their work at conferences or conducting research travel. Applicants must be presenting a research paper or travelling for their research within 12 months of the scholarship closing date. The award provides financial support up to $5,000 NZD to facilitate research dissemination and fieldwork activities. This opportunity is offered by the University of Waikato and aims to enhance research capacity and international engagement for postgraduate students in environmental and natural science disciplines.
