About This Opportunity

The Specialist programme from Lloyds Bank Foundation focuses on supporting small, local, specialist charities with an income of £25,000–£500,000. The programme provides a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000 combined with tailored development support to help charities strengthen their organizational capacity and build the knowledge, skills and capabilities of staff and trustees. The Foundation supports charities that help people overcome complex issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, and addiction - issues that don't have simple solutions and make life much harder for people by deepening trauma, impacting health and wellbeing, leading to poverty and destitution, and preventing people from fulfilling their potential. Small, local, specialist charities play a unique role in helping people rebuild their lives through their size, connection to their communities and deep understanding of the issues people face. The programme targets charities whose main focus is to provide support for one of eight specific themes (not detailed on this page). The Foundation aims to ensure that supported charities can thrive beyond the lifetime of the funding by providing both financial resources and developmental support throughout the three-year grant period. Please note: This funding programme is now closed and is not currently accepting applications.
