About This Opportunity
The Spillane Family Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Daniel P. Spillane Jr., EdD (1930-2020). Daniel was a graduate of Homestead High School and was an Educator in the Pittsburgh Public School. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Steel Valley High School or Taylor Alderdice High School who demonstrate financial need and plan to pursue post-secondary education. The scholarship is open to students planning to attend accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for consideration.
