Spillemidler

Spillemidler is a Norwegian grant program for sports facilities and community exercise areas. Municipalities, sports clubs, and other organizations can apply for funding for construction and rehabilitation of sports facilities and outdoor community recreation areas. The program aims to enable a larger portion of the population to participate in sports and physical activity. Funding is available for new construction and rehabilitation of organized sports facilities, as well as community facilities (outdoor facilities for physical activities in residential areas). Applications are processed through the municipality, which prioritizes applications before forwarding them to the county by January 15 each year. The county makes the final funding decision.
