Spillemidler for idretts-, friliuftsliv- og nærmiljøanlegg

Spillemidler are grants funded by the surplus from Norsk Tipping (the Norwegian gaming operator) administered by Elverum Kommune. The program aims to enable a larger portion of the population to engage in sports and physical activities. Funding is available for new sports and outdoor facilities, rehabilitation of existing sports and outdoor facilities, and neighborhood facilities. Applications must be submitted electronically through the facility registry by October 31st each year. Before applying, organizations must contact the municipality to register the facility. All ordinary facilities applying for spillemidler must be included in a municipal plan for sports and physical activity. The county allocates grants after review by the Ministry of Culture, with results announced by July 1st.
