Spillemidler lokale kulturhus (Gaming Funds for Local Cultural Buildings) provides financial support for suitable premises, buildings and outdoor arenas that provide space for various cultural activities. Funding can be granted for cultural centers, multi-purpose facilities, or special premises for arts and culture, such as libraries, museum buildings or other cultural heritage projects, stage art premises, concert halls or exhibition spaces for visual arts. The funds are intended for new construction, renovation and modernization of cultural buildings. Grants can also be given to establish secular ceremonial rooms, but not for ordinary maintenance or operations.
