Spillemidler - støtte til idrettsanlegg

Spillemidler is a grant program funded by surplus from Norsk Tipping (Norwegian gaming revenues) for construction and rehabilitation of sports facilities in Halden municipality. The program supports both organized activity facilities and community facilities open to all, as well as outdoor recreation facilities. The grant covers new construction, renovation, and modernization of sports facilities, but does not cover maintenance or operations. Applications must be part of the municipality's action plan for sports and physical activity, and facilities must be open to general sports activities and not operated for profit. The program has two main categories: ordinary sports facilities receiving 1/3 of approved costs with varying maximum amounts depending on facility type, and community facilities receiving 50% of approved costs up to NOK 400,000. Østfold county council is responsible for distributing state gaming funds to sports facilities in the county, while Halden municipality controls, prioritizes, and forwards final applications to the county. The waiting time for approved funding is currently 1-2 years for ordinary facilities and maximum 1 year for community and outdoor recreation facilities.
