Spillemidler til anlegg for idrett og fysisk aktivitet

This funding program provides gaming revenue grants (spillemidler) for the construction and rehabilitation of sports facilities, outdoor recreation facilities, and local community facilities that are open for general sports activities or self-organized activities and are not subject to commercial interests. The program is administered by Akershus County Council and supports the development of facilities that promote physical activity and sports for the community. Applications are processed through a multi-stage system involving municipalities and the county, with the Ministry of Culture setting the overall funding framework. The program also supports the purchase and furnishing of existing facilities and universal design of older sports facilities. From 2023 onwards, a sustainability assessment aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals is a mandatory part of the application process.
