About this opportunity

The Spirit and Serena Sunderji Scholarship is offered annually to a graduating student in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary who is pursuing a career in a small animal practice. The scholarship recognizes academic merit based on student performance in the Small Animal GVP rotation, with consideration given to the number of small animal rotations and overall performance in these rotations. Preference is given to students who have been accepted into a formal small animal internship, with second preference to students who have secured a job in a small animal practice. The overall GPA in Year IV courses may also be considered if necessary. This award supports students who demonstrate excellence in small animal veterinary medicine as they transition from their veterinary education to professional practice.
