Sporting and Excellence Grant

Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Sporting and Excellence Grant assists residents of Stratherrick and Foyers to participate in a sport or area of excellence at a national, international or championship level. The grant covers eligible costs including travel, accommodation and entry costs (but not food) for individuals attending competitions or training camps at high-performance levels. Applicants can apply for a maximum of two grants per year, with each grant worth up to £250. A fresh application must be submitted for each event, and a Completion Report from any previous grant must be provided before a new application will be considered. Applicants must have received confirmation of their place at the event before applying, and retrospective applications are not accepted. The grant is funded by Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (SFCT) using community benefit money received from renewable energy companies operating in the area. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and are reviewed at quarterly grant deadlines by SFCT Board Directors.
