About This Opportunity
The University of Stirling Sports Scholarships are part of the largest high-performance sports programme in the UK, which supports and sends athletes to Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games. Since its inception in 1981, the program has supported more than 700 student-athletes. Up to 18 scholarships are awarded annually in football, golf, swimming, tennis and triathlon, with other sporting disciplines considered on a case-by-case basis if recipients meet the required criteria. Scholarships are awarded in the form of fee waivers and are for each year of study. Undergraduate students receive £2,000 per year while postgraduate students receive £4,000 per year. The awards are based on a combination of academic merit and sporting achievement, supporting student-athletes pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate taught degrees at the University of Stirling.
