Sports Scholarships

Edge Hill University offers Sports Scholarships worth up to £1,000 per academic year for talented athletes, coaches, or officials who have firmly accepted an offer to study at the university. The scholarships are designed to help students develop their sporting performance while pursuing their degree. Available at three levels (Gold, Silver, Bronze), these scholarships provide financial support for training and competition expenses, along with additional benefits such as free gym access, personal training, sports science support, and strength and conditioning sessions. The scholarships are renewable annually based on satisfactory academic and sporting progress. Recipients must be committed to representing the university in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) events and contributing to raising the standard of student sports teams.
