About this opportunity
The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues has established an annual grant program to provide SPSSI members with funds to develop, enhance, or measure the impact of an innovative action teaching classroom activity, student assignment, field experience, or web-based resource. Proposed projects will be judged on originality, feasibility, potential teaching effectiveness, and potential impact with respect to one or more social issues. Applicants are strongly encouraged to include details on how they plan to assess the educational effectiveness and social impact of their proposed classroom activity, student assignment, field experience, or web-based resource. SPSSI expects to award a maximum of three action teaching grants per year to support innovative pedagogical approaches that address social issues.
