St John's College Compton Residential Scholarship

The St John's College Compton Residential Scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme, offering financial support to students experiencing financial hardship. Established in 2022 by St John's College and the Compton Family under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, the scholarship provides annual distributions from the endowment to support students with the cost of residential fees at St John's College. The scholarship is valued at $4,500 (subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may be more or less in some years) towards accommodation fees. This scholarship is available to domestic students enrolled full-time in an approved program at the University of Queensland who are residents at St John's College and can demonstrate financial hardship through documentary evidence.
