St John's College John Alwyn Residential Scholarship

The St John's College John Alwyn Residential Scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme, designed to support domestic undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at St John's College, University of Queensland. Established in 2024 by St John's College and the Warden Ms Rose Alwyn in honour of Dr John Alwyn AM under the Create Change Scholarship Match initiative, this scholarship provides annual distributions from an endowment to assist with accommodation costs. The scholarship is valued at $4,500, though this amount is subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may vary from year to year. It is awarded for one year to a single recipient who is enrolled full-time in an approved program at UQ and resides at St John's College. Applicants need only submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme, and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
