About This Opportunity

The Young Achievers Residential Scholarship is a partnership between the University of Queensland and St Leo's College to support Young Achievers to access higher education with a contribution to residential costs. This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme and provides financial assistance toward accommodation fees for eligible students. The scholarship is valued at $8,000 towards accommodation fees and is awarded for a duration of 3 years. Two scholarships are available each year. The scholarship specifically targets domestic students who are part of the Young Achievers Program and can demonstrate financial hardship. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time in an approved undergraduate program at the University of Queensland and be residents at St Leo's College. Documentary evidence of financial hardship is required as part of the application process. A single application allows consideration for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme, and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
