St. Nicholas Scholarship

The St. Nicholas Scholarship is offered by Northumbria University in partnership with the St Nicholas Educational Trust to support young people in Newcastle pursuing undergraduate education. The scholarship awards two students £2,500 per year (to a total of £7,500) during their three-year undergraduate studies. The St Nicholas Educational Trust was established to provide financial assistance and promote the education of young people in Newcastle. This scholarship aims to transform the lives of two Northumbria Undergraduate students by providing financial support that can be used to enhance their learning and overall university experience. Recipients are selected through a competitive application process and must meet specific eligibility criteria including being under 25 years old, residing in Newcastle upon Tyne for five years or more, having a household income under £25,000, and holding UK/Home fee status.
