Stagecoach Greater Manchester Fund

The Stagecoach Greater Manchester Fund in partnership with Forever Manchester supports grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. The fund aims to encourage and support small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they'd like. Local groups understand how they can best work in their communities, so the fund doesn't limit the type of request applicants can make. Groups just need to explain what they want to do and what positive things their activity will provide for those in their community. The maximum award that will be considered is £2,500, and applicants must have an annual income of less than £150,000. The fund is offered by Stagecoach Manchester, the leading bus operator in the region, in partnership with Forever Manchester, which recognizes the great things happening in and around Greater Manchester and provides a positive, friendly and accessible approach to gaining much needed financial support for community groups.
