About This Opportunity

The Stamps Scholars Program was founded by E. Roe Stamps and his late wife Penny in 2006, with the purpose of enabling extraordinary educational experiences for extraordinary students. Through partnerships with institutions across the nation and into the U.K., Scholars receive annual awards that range from $20,000 to $98,000, with four-year awards totaling an average of $80,000-$392,000, plus additional funds for enrichment activities such as study abroad, academic conferences, and leadership training. The Stamps Scholars Program and partner schools evenly share the costs of the awards. Most partner institutions offer four-year scholarships for entering first-year students, while select partners offer 'walk-on' scholarships for entering second- and third-year students. Once on campus, students receive an outstanding educational experience through access to excellent advisors, opportunities for leadership and personal development, and resources that help propel them forward as they work to realize their dreams. There are 38 Stamps Scholar partner schools across the US and into the UK. Applicants interested in being considered for a Stamps Scholarship must contact the partner schools directly, as scholarships are awarded by the partner schools, not by the Foundation. Scholarship terms vary by institution.
