Stanley Sinclair Bequest Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2020 to assist postgraduate students studying English to develop their skills in poetry and/or academic writing about poetry. The scholarship is funded by a bequest made by Stanley Sinclair in 1992. Recipients enrolled full-time will receive $5,000 per annum for up to one year, while part-time recipients will receive $2,500 per annum for up to two years. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, recent work demonstrating ability in poetry composition or academic writing about poetry, and a personal statement showing commitment to developing skills in these areas.
